Job Summary:

The Product Standards Specialist is responsible for supporting the Standards and Tech Enablement team within Product Innovation. The incumbent will coordinate documentation, meeting attendance, and action items for Surescripts from various standards bodies including, but not limited to, NCPDP, HL7, X12, etc. The Product Standards Specialist will play multiple roles as necessary to aid with the support of projects, processes, and communications across the Product Innovation team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor standards and policy sources and maintain various internal and external repositories of information.

  • Prepare materials for product presentations, workshops, focus groups, webinars and reports for Standards and Tech Enablement.

  • Build, update and maintain the Standards and Platform pages on Surescripts Connect (SharePoint) and in Confluence.

  • Coordinate attendance at Standards related conference and workgroups to ensure Surescripts has adequate representation.

  • Assist team with information gathering and other administration related to Standards and tech enablement.

  • Work across Product Innovation to support standards strategic planning sessions.

  • Coordinate content for internal newsletter, facilitate review and publish to teams, solicit content, and manage calendar.

  • Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies, standards organizations, and accelerators to stay informed about new and upcoming regulations.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress of standards and tech enablement deliverables.

  • Promote effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in related, progressive roles

  • 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or other related field

  • Health information technology experience

  • Experience with ANSI accredited Standards Development Organizations (SDO)

  • Experience as product/project coordinator

  • Experience with salesforce.com

  • Experience with tools to facilitate virtual meetings and work sessions

  • Experience with SharePoint

  • Experience with Confluence

  • Experience with Aha! (Aha.io)

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $81,250 - $99,350 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
