We are seeking an experienced and dynamic project manager to oversee the delivery, execution, and governance of the DICK’S Media business workstreams. This role requires an organized and independent facilitator who can manage project charters, x-functional partner communication, detailed timelines, coordination of inputs from subject matter experts, tracking, and stakeholder status reports to ensure the projects are completed on-time, within budget and meet internal/external partner expectations.

The Project Manager – DMN will play a critical role in ensure project goals align with DICK’S Strategic objective to leverage the power of our data, and delivery of this high-impact initiative!

Project Management

  • Establish Project Charter and/or brief, develop and communicate timelines, manage project budget, and align cross-functional resourcing support Manage the scope, goals, and deliverables therein inclusive of timelines, milestones, costs, risks, and identifying resource gaps with associated work

  • Manage and lead cross-functional Project execution overseeing the development of business programs and initiatives, customer and company communications and training.

  • Actively monitor project risks, scope, and financial management and facilitate communication for key stakeholder alignment, approvals, and recommendations to remove identified barriers.

  • Own and lead internal and vendor partner meetings including agenda preparation, project presentation updates, financial progress tracking, timeline/calendars and overall project status.

  • Produce tracking documents for cross functional team discussion and executive communication to inform on updates, risk, and decisions needed

  • Create executive facing summaries and recommendations with supporting data to drive decisions

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with DICK’S Media functional leaders and partners to reinforce alignment on critical workstreams and to communicate the iterations and adjustments accordingly as the business evolves

  • Serve as the primary business liaison for DICK’S Media program management for all related activities and updates

Communication and Performance Tracking

  • Establish KPIs and related metrics for relevant workstreams to report on the health of the business-side roadmap

  • Communicate with individual workstream owners to evaluate progress, and actively drive forward momentum and integration into the business

  • Provide regular updates to cross-functional leadership including progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations for resolution(s)

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project management effectiveness

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the project management team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Program management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

  • 5 - 7 Years

  • Must have 5+ years of Project Management Experience

  • PMP, PgMP or related project management certifications strongly preferred

  • Must have strong analytical, attention to detail, as well as organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Must have strong communication skills both verbal and in writing specifically in writing store directives/communication

  • Must possess strong sense of urgency

  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook

  • Experience with related project management toolsets

  • Strong Leadership and effective communication skills

  • Familiarity with Media, AdTech preferred

  • Ability to identify risks and offer recommendations

  • Experience with large-scale transformational endeavors

Targeted Pay Range: $83,000 - $138,200. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
