Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for nerve conduction studies (NCS) and needle electromyography (EMG).
- Clinical Testing: Perform NCS and assist supervising physicians with EMG procedures.
- Professional Collaboration: Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, staff, and medical providers.
Qualifications:
- Core Knowledge: Proficiency in basic medical terminology, anatomy, and neurophysiology of the neuromuscular system.
- Standards & Compliance: Understanding of HIPAA and ASHA standards.
- Technical Skills: General familiarity with NCS/EMG equipment is preferred but not required.
