We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Credit Risk team.

In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyse and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

Associate will be supporting the Firm's Structured Products Secured Lending (aka Warehouse Lending) platform. The business offers revolving credit or term facilities, highly structured, and secured by a wide range of financial assets. The team is responsible for the monitoring and review of existing loan facilities for transactions secured by residential real estate assets, business loans, corporate loans, and multiple ABS asset classes (consumer, transportation, etc.).

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Manage and monitor of a portfolio of borrowers

  • Responsible for the financial and credit analysis for an assigned coverage portfolio

  • Track and monitor industry trends for assigned coverage portfolio

  • Present and discuss credit views internally on assigned coverage portfolio, including rating and regulatory classification recommendation

  • Oversee the tracking and monitoring of borrower compliance in accordance with contractual terms and Firm requirements for the assigned coverage portfolio

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Quantitative orientation

  • Ability to manage dynamic priorities

  • Finance and/or accounting degree preferable

  • Knowledge of the loan underwriting preferred

  • Experience in at least one of the following industries required: corporate loans, aircraft financing, or CRE loans

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience

  • Masters or equivalent professional qualification (CFA, CA, CPA, etc preferred)

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by onshore teams and senior stakeholders

  • Possess strong problem identification and solution techniques

  • Good collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment
