SUMMARY 

The BizTalk Administrator Support role involves providing technical support services for BizTalk applications to the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The position requires proactive monitoring, reporting, and maintaining BizTalk environments, as well as mentoring staff and ensuring adherence to SLAs.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

Public Trust Clearance required for access to facilities, equipment and property. 

Proven experience in supporting and maintaining BizTalk Server environments. 

Strong knowledge of BizTalk administration, configuration, and development. 

Ability to proactively monitor and manage BizTalk environments to prevent degradation or outages. 

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to generate detailed reports on server instances. 

Strong communication skills for mentoring staff and providing status updates. 

Experience with help-desk management tools and ticketing systems. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience with BizTalk 2019/2020 or higher versions. 

Familiarity with cloud-based BizTalk solutions. 

Experience working with Microsoft CRM and Oracle systems.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the followingOther duties may be assigned. 

 

Supports all existing BizTalk-based data integration processes. 

 

Provides BizTalk Server Instance Reports as required by the COR, detailing outages, critical performance or infrastructure issues, and possible root causes. 

 

Proactively monitors capacity in production and test BizTalk environments, taking actions to avoid degradation or outages. 

 

Actively transfers knowledge and mentor staff members on various aspects of BizTalk administration, configuration, and development. 

 

Maintains and updates BizTalk administration documentation as requested by the Government Task Manager or the COR. 

 

Provides BizTalk monthly patching support documentation and update SOP for continuous monitoring with agency data integrations used by the job scheduler. 

 

Monitors the BizTalk queue in the current help-desk management tool (Track It) or its future replacement and distribute helpdesk tickets to appropriate support staff when necessary. 

 

Timely updates all assigned BizTalk-related helpdesk tickets. 

 

Ensures full adherence to existing SLAs. 

 

Provide weekly status updates to the COR and Government Task Manager in written format on project progress and other assigned duties. 

  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

The estimated pay range for this role is $131K to $160K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
