The Manager of Paid Search will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Paid Search Team to support ongoing customer needs with timely and professional service to enhance long-term, profitable customer relationships while ensuring high quality execution of paid search campaigns by the customer facing team members through leadership skills, effective team management, and cross-functional collaboration. This Manager will work closely with the other Digital Solutions leaders and key business stakeholders to implement consistent standards for paid search marketing and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the customer lifecycle driving customer retention and growth.

Production:

  • Achieve deliverable time frames and promote a high level of staff utilization and productivity.
  • Analyze and report key measurements of processes implemented within paid search.
  • Recommend and manage external supplier relationships.
  • Address escalated client issues and bring them to a positive resolution.
  • Show up with solutions and drives execution.

Career Management of Team:

  • Assist team members in formulating development plans that support overall business objectives, including budget management and customer retention.
  • Motivate and manage team members to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Provide targeted, timely and effective feedback.
  • Set expectations, hold people accountable, and coach to expectations.
  • Identify and recommend training needs/opportunities for the team.
  • Work with business leaders to manage resourcing needs.
  • Prepare performance reviews.
  • Participate in the interviewing and selection of new team members.  

Strategy:

  • Identify process improvement needs, recommend solutions, and implement changes.
  • Collaborate, cross-functionally, to quickly identify issues and resolve to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast of digital marketing trends with a heavy focus on paid search.
  • Evaluate and recommend paid search best practices and tools.
  • Partner with stakeholders in planning and implementation of new business solutions around key business and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Identify innovative approaches to evolve paid search strategy and delivery.
     

About You:

You're a fit for the role if you have/are:

  • 1-2+ years’ people management or mentoring/coaching experience.
  • 1-2+ years’ experience in managing vendor/supplier or Software as a Service relationships.
  • 3+ years’ experience in paid search advertising for professional services (legal services preferred).

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $120,400 - $223,600. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
