DoD Mission Risk Manager, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a Risk Management Manager on our team, you will be the subject matter expert in assessing, calculating, and illustrating aggregate risk to Defense systems, missions, and plans at varying levels of war. You will assist in helping our team to convey risk to systems and missions from various threats, including kinetic actions and cyber warfare. You will work with the team of data scientists and analysts to support Department of Defense Mission Assurance. You will interact with and brief senior leaders and DoD customers. This position is located in Northern Virginia.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience conducting risk analysis, developing risk assessment methodologies, or creating risk matrices

• Experience with mission assurance, supply chain risk management (SCRM), Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI), Continuity of Operations, or cyber threats

• Experience assessing threats, vulnerabilities, exposure, intent, controls, impacts or consequences, or likelihood

• Experience leveraging a variety of data sources to assess or calculate risk

• Experience briefing or interacting with senior leaders

• Experience working in a professional environment

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in a DoD environment such as Joint Staff, DoD Agency, Combatant Command, or Service staff

• Experience with intelligence analysis

• Experience working as a data scientist

• Experience with cybersecurity

• Ability to communicate with government clients, contractors, and mission partners to convey ideas and concepts

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
