We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Wholesale Post-Trade Support Analyst to work collaboratively within the Wholesale Treasury Post Trade Support team where you will be partnering with the business providing Post Trade Maintenance, Monitoring and Controls.

Working in a dedicated team of professionals, you’ll be accountable for undertaking of a suite of administrative tasks and controls aimed at providing an optimal service to the business to ensure that Santander can continue to meet its commitment to Stronger Foundations and ultimately be the easiest way for customers to make their better happen.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Executing tasks and controls to efficiently manage the bank’s liquidity on a day to day basis
  • Dealing with San UK’s counterparties and agents, ensuring the timely settlement of security trades
  • Investigating and resolving trade related queries and provide resolution to issues and respond to queries from key stakeholders such as the counterparties, and the business
  • Undertaking a margin call process with Central Counterparty Clearing Houses (CCPs) and clients, including Variation Margin, Initial Margin, Default Funds, Daily Interest etc
  • Ensuring compliance with the internal control environment and that deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Contributing to ongoing assurance that process documentation is in place and remain relevant for all key processes therefore maintaining a robust control infrastructure

What you’ll bring:

  • Proficient analytical skills, able to use MS Excel to rationalise data from several sources to support the Wholesale inventory
  • A good understanding or interest in Financial/Trading Markets

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across the business
  • Relevant Financial qualification or equivalent

This role is based in London, Triton Square.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
