WHAT YOU WILL DO

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role, you will lead our cloud strategy, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of our Azure cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, and extensive experience with large-scale Azure deployments. Your strategic vision and technical expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation and efficiency across our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architecture on Azure.

  • Define and implement cloud strategies, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for automated cloud resource management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing IT infrastructure.

  • Drive the adoption of Azure services, optimizing for performance, cost, and security.

  • Oversee cloud governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing our cloud capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree OR

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of cloud architecture experience OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of cloud architecture experience OR

  • Associate’s degree and 8 years of cloud architecture experience OR

  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of cloud architecture experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on Azure.

  • Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale cloud architectures.

  • Hands-on proficiency in Terraform and other IaC tools for automated infrastructure management.

  • Hands-on extensive experience with Azure services, including networking, security, and compute.

  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

  • Proven track record of leading cloud transformation initiatives.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across the organization.
