Job Summary:
As a Data Center Operations Associate Manager within Acrisure's IT department, you will be tasked with helping solve the most critical operational challenges facing the business. You will be called on to work collaboratively between IT silos and your team to deploy, and support Acrisure's data center and cloud technology portfolio. As a Team lead, you will play a crucial role in helping grow and evolve the operation’s personnel and function. The work you will do is important and will support the tremendous growth cementing Acrisure as an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
Your daily focus will consist of time managing between multiple priorities, including both operational and project workloads. You will be expected to balance your tasks to achieve the highest value.
Providing leadership and guidance to the Data Center Operations team, and the broader Operations group.
Contribute to the development of strategic plans for IT operations.
Assist in setting goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
You will identify ways to optimize technology and processes. You understand that these options will align with best practices and a business case will be needed to relate the need to business objectives.
Oversee the resolution of IT incidents and problems in a timely manner.
Own and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for processes and team-specific information.
Identify training needs within the team and organize relevant training sessions.
Monitor and analyze the utilization of Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure group personnel.
Be the top-level technical escalation point for Azure-related infrastructure issues (AVDs, etc.)
Provide regular updates on IT operations performance and projects specific to the group.
Requirements:
Relevant Microsoft certifications
Experience designing, deploying and supporting Azure services such as AVDs etc.
Extensive experience with Windows server administration.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Yearly budgeting and ownership
ITIL, COBIT, or similar certification
ServiceNow queue support and reporting experience
Education/Experience:
One or more years of experience leading a Data Center or Cloud Infrastructure technical team
Minimum of five years of experience with Azure management and configuration, operationally supporting virtual desktops, and Windows server maintenance and operational support
three or more years of IT Operations (NOC,TOC, helpdesk) experience
