Responsibilities:
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester invites applications for a full time therapist position to join its Behavioral Health Partners (BHP) team. BHP provides mental health care to eligible University of Rochester employees and their adult dependents in an outpatient setting. Our multidisciplinary team works together to provide medication consultation and psychotherapy for common conditions such as anxiety, stress, depression, and ADHD. The successful candidate will have expertise in evidence-based treatments, will be skilled in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and will be able to collaborate effectively with primary care providers. We are seeking a qualified master’s level candidate (LCSW or LCSW-R, LFMTs, or MHCs) with three years post graduate experience, strong clinical and diagnostic skills to join our vibrant team. The therapist provides comprehensive mental health and/or dual diagnosis services for individuals who have a diagnosable mental illness, functions as the primary clinician and is responsible for assessment, treatment planning, therapy/counseling, and education services for patients and families within the BHP model of care.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
