Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location.
Duties: Participate and lead business, architectural and functional requirement discussions, convert business requirements into technical requirements, analyze the system infrastructure and provide technology inputs and technical leadership for the design, development, and delivery of products and services aligning to architectural roadmap. Identify technical risks and plan contingency/mitigation actions, work with stakeholders in assessing risks and provide solutions. Ensure deliverables meet quality and compliance standards, technical specifications and coding standards, as well as the business design requirements. Review configuration for systems, applications, and database servers to ensure efficiency, high performance and availability. Identify and implement performance improvements, automations in Mainframe application programs and processes for higher efficiency and reduced cost. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Seven (7) years of experience must include: Software development and system analysis in IBM Mainframe z/OS environment; Designing, coding, and analyzing complex programs written in Mainframe COBOL programming language; Using Job Control Language (JCL) to create and modify jobs in batch applications, setup and review dependencies using job scheduler; Working with VSAM datasets including KSDS, ESDS, RRDS in the mainframe batch and online environment; CICS Application programming including creation, modification, maintenance of CICS Programs, developing APIs using IBM z/OS connect and debugging using Abend aid; Using relational databases in design and developing DB2 databases for storing and accessing Mainframe data; Mainframe DB2 batch programming, utilities, and tools including SPUFI; Writing, analyzing, and reviewing complex SQL queries to perform data analytics; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies Waterfall and Agile scrum; Mainframe version control tools including Changeman; and Using data manipulation utilities including IDCAMS, DFSORT/IBM utilities and performing file transmissions using NDM/FTP. 40 hrs./wk.
