Enbridge has an exciting opportunity for you! As an Advisor, Strategy and Fundamentals, you will be responsible for the development and communication of commercial and low carbon strategies for Enbridge’s Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM) business unit.

The successful candidate will work in our Houston TX or Calgary AB office and be responsible for development of the business unit strategy and leading relationships with investor relations to develop Gas Transmission content.

What you will do:

  • Analyzing, researching and preparing strategy materials for executive leadership

  • Coordinating with key partners across the organization to advance strategy

  • Ensuring fundamentals research has been completed within natural gas, low carbon energy, etc.

  • Developing business unit-specific low-carbon growth strategies

  • Working to understand the impact of energy fundamentals and the external environment on our strategy and fundamentals

  • Providing relevant research and analysis for commercial teams to advance strategic growth opportunities

Who you are:

  • A bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or engineering with a good understanding of the North American energy industry (additional certifications would be a bonus, e.g., MBA)

  • A minimum of four years of experience in the Energy sector with a knowledge and interest of low carbon energy

  • Experience with conducting both qualitative and quantitative analysis, including research

  • Strong presentation and communications skills

  • Ability to adapt to frequently shifting priorities

Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in typical office environment with some travel required

  • Exposed to stressful situations where smart decisions must be made without supervision. Work may include any combination of hours in a given 24-hour period

  • Holiday and overtime work as necessary are also required

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear

  • The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk

  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

Mental Requirements:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
