Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application development aligns with business objectives, overseeing project timelines, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to drive project success. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications meet the required standards and specifications while fostering a collaborative environment for your team members.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Continuously assess and improve application performance and user experience.
We are looking for Managed Services to support our Oracle EBS R12.2.12, 19c DB, Core Oracle (19c) instances and the periphery systems SplashBI , FlexDeploy, OEM etc. This would be a 24x7 support and the team would be responsible for all Oracle Apps DBA services
Incident & request management, resolution, and support
Physical Database Maintenance and administration. Routine Maintenance(Backup management, Cloning and Refresh, Object validation, Availability issues, Performance issues, Space management etc)
Proactive maintenance including health checks, database tuning, scaling, etc.
Technical status meetings, Delivery Management meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews
Application and Database Patching
Root Cause Analysis
SR Management
Code release and migration
Batch Job Monitoring and Management
Database Environment Management
SOP based Server support
Project related tasks (Oracle upgrade / related projects assistance)
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong understanding of database design and architecture.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for database management.
- Familiarity with database security best practices.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based in Hyderabad.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
