Hitachi Energy is looking for a Design Engineer to join our [team, location]. • Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and seek opportunities for design innovations.
• Engage with customers to capture and incorporate their feedback into design solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, selecting optimal materials and components.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation that supports design processes and facilitates knowledge sharing.
• Identify and implement continuous design improvements based on test results and industry best practices, enhancing quality and efficiency
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field with 2-5 years of experience in design engineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Pro-active attitude, self-motivated and with a strong sense of ownership.
• Open to change, feedback and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
