Our purpose-led organisation is seeking a Sustainability Officer to join our Impact Evaluation and Sustainability team and support the delivery of initiatives that embed sustainability across RAC’s operations and culture. 

This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to kickstart their career in sustainability and make a meaningful impact. 

This role is available Full Time on an initial 12month Maximum Term Contract with the potential for extension.  

What you’ll be doing: 

• Leading minor sustainability projects on behalf of the Group Sustainability team. 

• Supporting the development and communication of sustainability initiatives and campaigns across RAC. 

• Helping with initiatives that contribute to workplace culture change. 

• Assisting with sustainability education through engagement with staff and youth (e.g., RAC Ignite program). 

• Creating and maintaining sustainability content for RAC’s internal channels (e.g., intranet). 

• Supporting waste reduction, circular economy, and other environmental initiatives. 

What you’ll bring: 

• A degree in sustainability or a related field. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Strong time management and organisational skills. 

• An appetite and aptitude for stakeholder engagement. 

• A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.
