Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting our Corporate Safety and Environmental teams through site auditing, compliance reviews, and records upkeep.

 Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Perform site audits for both safety and environmental regulatory compliance
  • Assist with site sampling – including silica, noise, water, etc.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures for site operations
  • Develop training materials
  • Investigate accident and injury reports and near miss reports
  • Assist with property damage claims response
  • Assist with upkeep of the Safety and Environmental SharePointe sites
  • Assist in purchasing for the department (purchase orders) (TMT)
  • Assist with regular reporting to the state
  • Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor.

     

Qualifications:

 Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental engineering, or similar.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office (Emphasis on excel and word)
  • Experience with Adobe
  • Experience with PowerPoint
  • Experience with Power BI and Sharepoint
  • Proven problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make appropriate decisions working within established guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have good phone, computer and typing skills.
