We are seeking a talented and strategic Lead Product Owner to lead and oversee the development of Noggin’s SaaS products, ensuring alignment with our product strategy and market needs. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, engineering, sales, customer success, and professional services to gather product ideas, clearly define features, maintain product backlogs, and deliver high quality solutions that exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of leadership, technical proficiency, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in product management.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and translate market opportunities and customer needs into actionable product roadmaps that align with the product vision and strategy and helps to achieve business objectives.
Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather product insights, prioritize features, define requirements, and ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
Clearly define product specifications, user stories, user interface, and acceptance criteria to guide the development team and ensure that users’ needs are met in the best possible way.
Manage the product backlog to sequence development efforts and ensure timely and effective delivery of product updates balancing timing, technical, and resource constraints.
Lead, coach and scale a high performing team of product owners to deliver high quality features and facilitate all agile development processes to optimize cross-functional team performance.
Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to assess the impact of product releases and leverage data-driven insights to guide future product improvements.
Act as a product evangelist, effectively communicating the value proposition and benefits of the Noggin platform as well as new releases and versions to stakeholders, customers, and partners.
Develop and demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in all relevant functional areas to help maintain a system-level view during the solution construction process.
Plan and coordinate release schedules in collaboration with development teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of product features and enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline
At least 5 years of product management or product owner experience
At least 3 years delivering enterprise software solutions to large customers
Agile software development experience, qualifications, or certification
Demonstrated experience taking primary responsibility for the delivery of a software development project or product over the entire software development lifecycle
Knowledge of usability and user experience design principles and best practices
Should have worked as a PO for a product deployed on commercial cloud platforms
Proactive, enthusiastic attitude toward challenging problems
Polished presentation and communication skills

Strong strategic thinking and vision skills
Strong business and technical acumen
Strong influencing and leadership skills
It will also be beneficial (not mandatory) if you have:
Knowledge of business continuity, incident management, or mass communications
Well versed on task management, team collaboration, and data analytics features
Experience in automating workflows, identity and security, and data integrations
Well versed with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
High level of competency in MS 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
High level of competency in Atlassian Jira
High level of competency in Figma
