As an integral part of the Creative Team, the Copywriter is responsible for writing copy for homepages, emails, product pages, online marketing, and social media copy with an understanding how to adapt voice based on channel.

Must be passionate about both brand and product storytelling — finding unique ways to engage with customers, prospects, and our community across multiple touch points. Should have an affinity for wellness, fitness, and a healthy lifestyle, which are intrinsic to the Haven Well Within brand.

  • Demonstrate expertise translating brand and marketing strategy into compelling copy
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to Haven Well Within Style Guide
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and other members of the Creative team to craft inspiring, on-brand content across all categories and channels
  • Use a variety of writing styles to engage diverse audiences across both print and digital
  • Brainstorm storytelling and marketing opportunities
  • Create branded social copy that is insightful, culturally relevant, and inherently sharable.
  • Own product copy workflow, working with merchants and design teams on fit, fabric, and style. Extract and organize product information from internal databases and write all product descriptions and details
  • Maintain high standards for writing and proofreading
  • Present work at weekly review meeting. Be able to explain our rationale and decision making to build consensus and meet business objectives.
  • Review proofs for accuracy.
  • Communicate project status to Project Manager. Proactively navigate the creative process, schedules, and deadlines

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ copywriting experience
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in English, communications, advertising, or marketing
  • Background in fashion and wellness ecommerce/editorial; working knowledge of current trends, style, culture and language of fashion and wellness worlds
  • Portfolio of relevant creative work that shows diversity across channels
  • Strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to product, design, graphics, and typography
  • Experience in developing direct response concepts, email marketing, and direct mail
