Job Purpose

           End-to-end responsibility of claims IT systems delivery to support business initiatives  

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide range of projects related to Claims from new systems implementation to legal / regulatory and other BAU projects.
  • Ensures that execution is aligned with enterprise standards by working closely with architects, technology risk, control and information security teams.
  • Collaborate with business to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions to share with IT vendors.
  • Manages relationships with vendors on a day to day basis
  • Report projects status to the Head of Claims Systems and manage communication with the different projects stakeholders (Claims, Transformation, IT PMO, etc.).

Required Skills and Experiences

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Specific Qualifications

Japanese fluent. English conversational.

Total Experience

Experience:

  • 10+ years IT delivery experience
  • Tier 1 insurance carrier delivery experience, preferred
  • P&C insurance knowledge in Claims domain is a plus

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of technical architecture and application systems design and integration in a large heterogeneous enterprise environment.
  • Have experience working with legacy systems such as Mainframe (AS/400), Visual Basic.
  • Have experience working in relational DB such as Oracle, Sybase, etc.
  • Experience with some of the following technologies preferred: Java, FileNet, Angular, Workflow system, low code no code platform.

  •  Ability to operate and have credibility with senior business leaders
