Location: Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists

Job type: Permanent, part-time, 33.5 hours per week.

Hours: Mon-Fri plus 1:4 Saturdays

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cardiology/Laboratory Technician to join our friendly team at Anderson Moores.

 Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across clinical, kennel, and laboratory areas.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment, surfaces, and patient areas.
  • Ensure appropriate waste disposal in line with clinical guidelines.
  • Safely handle and restrain patients for procedures, examinations, and treatments.
  • Assist with patient movement and positioning.
  • Provide basic patient care, ensuring comfort and welfare at all times.
  • Support the veterinary team during procedures as required.
  • Assist with sample preparation and processing.
  • Accurately record all laboratory tests and ensure they are correctly placed into the system.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organisation.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for use.

You can find us in Hampshire, just south of Winchester, close to the M3 and national and international transport links. We are in a serene countryside setting with state-of-the-art facilities and are available to look after pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
