About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Quantitative Analytics Specialist within AI Innovation & Modeling (AIM) group under Chief Administrative Office (CAO). This role focuses on delivering GenAI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions that support initiatives across CAO and COO. You will use cutting-edge AI and GenAI capabilities to build ethical, scalable, high-impact solutions aligned with enterprise goals and regulatory standards.
In this role, you will:
Design, develop and deploy GenAI & NLP solutions using state-of-the-art methodologies and tools.
Develop Python code for evaluations, synthetics data pipelines, automated prompting, and model fine-tuning.
Conduct research into and experiment with emerging GenAI techniques.
Collaborate closely with peers, business subject matter experts, as well as product, technology, and governance teams.
Prepare technical documentation and reports.
Effectively communicate project progress, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Adhere to corporate model risk policy and ensure compliance with Model Risk Management (MRM) throughout the model lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Quantitative Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Master's degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, economics, or quantitative discipline.
Desired Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of ML, NLP, LLMs, and GenAI techniques.
Hands on experience with LLMs, GenAI frameworks and tools.
Experience designing and evaluating GenAI solutions.
Experience optimizing GenAI applications for accuracy and performance.
Experience developing and deploying NLP and GenAI solutions in an enterprise setting.
Strong Python proficiency.
Experience with cloud platforms and distributed computing such as GCP and PySpark.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience working in a regulated environment.
Job Expectations:
This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
