What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this will lead a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of data-driven projects. This role will involve integrating complex data sources, performing data analytics, and developing visualizations and dashboards. The manager will also be collaborating with business leaders to design and implement sophisticated robotics process automation for business processes, analytical models, and artificial intelligence applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Leverage large datasets to conduct end-to-end business analytics, including data gathering, processing, analytics, and presentations.
  • Understand and capture business/functional requirements, recommend metrics, and build User Stories for each feature.
  • Build a wide range of data and analytics solutions, from descriptive to prescriptive, using advanced statistical, machine learning models, and genAI.
  • Prototype, build, and customize analytical applications to enable in-depth analysis.
  • Define and create automated interactive dashboards and tools that turn data into business insights.
  • Document data relations, data flows, and business logics behind digitalization projects.
  • Partner with DTI partners to ensure that models feeding the dashboards are robust, functional, and relevant to business needs.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional analytics projects, from building relationships with key business leaders to collecting and analyzing data, and presenting key insights to support decision-making(e.g. Digital Control Tower).
  • Apply analytics tools and scientific rigor to generate actionable insights.
  • Assist in the development of innovative data and analytics solutions, including descriptive and machine learning-based approaches that help predict and prescribe courses of action.
  • Work closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and decision-makers to optimize analytics solutions across AOH Operations.
  • Provide support in developing executive communications and present analyses and insights to senior leadership.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and support special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in data science, data analytics, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python or R.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and organization.
  • Proven success in delivering results on multiple projects in an agile and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, storytelling, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical details in an easy-to-understand language for business owners.
  • Independent, self-motivated, organized, able to multi-task in time-sensitive environments, and skilled in communication, facilitation, and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree,

or

Master’s degree with 3 years of Data Science experience,

or

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Data Science experience,

or

Associate’s degree with 10 years of Data Science experience,

or

High school diploma/GED with 12 years of Data Science experience,

In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing staff or complex projects.
  • Experience in a data science, data analyst, business analytics, business intelligence, or comparable role.
  • Ability to bridge functions, particularly technical and non-technical worlds.
  • Familiarity with common operations systems, such as SAP, Rapid Response, MES, LIMS, and advanced analytics tool sets, such as R, Python, SQL, Alteryx.
  • Experience processing, filtering, and presenting large quantities of data stored in data fabric or data lake repositories and data extracted directly from source systems.
  • Experience with data visualization tools or packages, such as Sensing, Tableau, or Spotfire, and working on a cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure).

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
