Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with different business units and cross-functional teams to ensure identified KPIs are monitored and inform stakeholders of critical and actionable insights.
  • Develop reports and dashboards focused on historical experience of leading and lagging indicators that influence the achievement of key metrics.
  • Determine opportunities for automation, streamlining and improvement of existing reports and dashboards.
  • Conduct routine reviews of data, perform tests and analyze results to optimize deliverables and ensure integrity and security of data in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns and correlations that may lead to meaningful findings to the business.
  • Create data models and algorithms to highlight gaps and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop meaningful data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills:

1) Strong understanding of and comprehensive experience with statistical methods and data analysis techniques (eg. ETL methodology)

2) Experience with business intelligence technologies (e.g. Qlikview, QlikSense, Power BI)

3) Proficiency in programming languages (eg. SQL, Python, R, etc)

4) Experience with relational databases (eg. Enterprise Data Lake)

5 Expertise in data visualization and utilization of relevant tools

Optional:

  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and actuary principles is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate and present complex data insights to senior leadership is a plus.
