Goals:

  • Automated Testing Excellence: Develop and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web applications, focusing on Adobe AEM to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Comprehensive Test Coverage: Conduct thorough testing across various devices using exploratory techniques to ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are met.
  • QA Best Practices: Implement and adhere to industry best practices in QA to standardize processes and improve the overall quality of deliverables.

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Automate testing for websites on the Adobe AEM platform.
  • Test websites across different devices using exploratory techniques.
  • Build, design, execute, and document automated tests.
  • Write automation and performance tests in various scripting languages.
  • Perform planned and ad-hoc manual testing as needed.
  • Identify and automate appropriate test cases using tools and QA frameworks.
  • Participate in meetings and reviews with customers and team members.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for testing.
  • Investigate bugs using available application and server logs, browser developer tools (e.g., Firebug), databases, and other resources.
  • Support deployment and maintenance activities.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical advice and direction.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or extensive experience in a related field.
  • Significant experience in programming and automation testing; familiarity with CMS (AEM preferred).
  • Proficient in Java (preferred), Perl, Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Robot Framework, and JMeter.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, REST APIs, and SEO principles.
  • Strong skills in test planning, case development, defect analysis, automation, and various testing types (unit, regression, smoke, end-to-end).
  • Familiarity with SDLC and QA practices; experience in cross-browser and mobile testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Jenkins, Git, Confluence, and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience in automation with AEM, SQL, mobile automation (Appium, Xcode), performance testing, and familiarity with tools like Sauce Labs and Applitools is a plus.
