Since 2024, 7-Eleven Australia has joined 7-Eleven International, becoming part of the world’s largest convenience retail network—spanning 20 countries and more than 84,000 stores. But what’s even more exciting is what’s ahead.
We are on a bold journey to redefine convenience retail in Australia—with fresh food at the centre of our strategy.
We’re significantly expanding and elevating our fresh offer, investing in new formats & product innovation to meet rapidly changing customer expectations. This isn’t just evolution—it’s a step change into becoming a food-led business.
Fresh food brings both opportunity and complexity—from shorter shelf lives and supply chain intricacies to quality consistency, forecasting, waste management, and supplier partnerships. We’re looking for leaders who thrive in this environment—who can navigate that complexity and turn it into competitive advantage.
This is a rare opportunity to join a business unit at the forefront of transforming 7-Eleven, shaping the future of food in convenience, and delivering meaningful impact at scale.
Why join us?
Be part of a transformation that’s redefining convenience through food.
We’re a human-centred, agile organisation, where our people are at the core of everything we do. We empower our teams with autonomy, encourage experimentation, and create an environment where you can truly grow your career—while having fun along the way.
The Role
As our Senior Category Manager (Fresh Food), you will play a critical leadership role in accelerating our shift to a fresh food–led business. This role goes well beyond traditional category management. You will be responsible for navigating the end-to-end complexity of fresh food. Working within an agile squad, you’ll lead category strategy, drive innovation, and shape a compelling, differentiated offer that wins with customers and delivers strong commercial outcomes.
