Summary
Join a dynamic Supply Chain Decision Intelligence team at McKesson where data science meets business strategy. We're seeking a Senior Data Scientist with a strong blend of AI/ML expertise and business acumen to build AI Agents that improve McKesson core supply chain operations and deliver measurable financial value. Help move healthcare forward by improving decision-making through data.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement AI Agents to support McKesson’s supply chain strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain planning, transportation, distribution experience, customer experience, Finance, Six Sigma, Enterprise platforms, and IT.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to develop hypotheses, pilot solutions, and scale successful models.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to uncover market trends, predict supply disruption, forecast demand, find and improve process inefficiencies, and strategic opportunities.
• Build scalable data pipelines and integrate digital data assets.
• Leverage McKesson’s data infrastructure to develop next-generation models focused on working capital savings and improving operating profit.
• Create self-serve decision support tools and parametrized procedures to democratize access to complex analysis.
• Break down complex problems into scalable workstreams and socialize solutions across teams.
• Develop Python APIs for model deployment in web applications.
• Track benefits and operationalize solutions across the organization.
   

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in analytics or a related field.
• Proven ability to use analytics to create business value.
• Strong Python skills (3+ years) with experience in Scikit-learn and Pandas.
• Solid SQL skills (4+ years).
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms such as clustering, regression, outlier detection, deep learning, and time series analysis.
• Experience with GenAI and Agentic AI.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web development.
• Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
• Business acumen and a passion for solving problems with data.
   

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
   

Preferable Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree / Graduate degree.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain analytics or a related field.
• Experience in GenAI and Agentic AI.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Web development experience is a plus.
• Strong desire and ability to use data to solve business problems.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $89,700 - $149,500
