Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining and recommending changes to Professional Services (“PS”) scoping and Statement of Work (“SOW”) templates. Help ensure that templates contain language designed to manage risks in contracting with Customers for implementation of technical, consulting and project management services.
Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of regulatory guidance (and client’s perspective) and practice of engaging with third parties for managing risk with third-party relationships. Understand customer expectations and requirements in contracting with Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions for PS.
Responsible for coordinating the drafting of PS SOW agreements (collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders (e.g., Professional Services team(s), Pre-Sales, Sales, Legal, etc.)), reviewing and confirming requested SOW revisions (those identified internally, or those requested by the customer), ensuring adherence to applicable departmental and standard company requirements, policies and procedures. Effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) with internal departments (Sales, Pre-Sales, Professional Services), as well as customers to ensure adherence to applicable company standard requirements, policies and procedures.
Ensure SOWs are drafted with consistency between Master Service Agreements (“MSA”) and Schedule A (the Amendment for services requiring PS consulting and project management services to implement).
Maintain internally established service level agreements for ensuring timely completion of scoping and SOW drafts.
Maintain and oversee the tracking of new and existing opportunity pipeline for the PS scoping and SOW process - from Pre-Sales engagement through the scoping and SOW process, ensuring applicable business and internal Legal department review and approvals.
As applicable, serve as departmental point of contact for the implementation of contract management tool (TBD - developed in-house, or otherwise)
Coordinate resolution of SOW terms through the customer SOW negotiation process.
Liaise with key business unit stakeholders and with the internal Legal team to ensure communication and reporting of issues.
Collaborate with internal Project Management to ensure PS SOW time tracking includes milestone/tasks that provide sufficient detail for tracking of implementation status, including ability to identify alerts when a project is nearing or exceeding estimated costs.
Maintain oversight of the scoping and SOW process status, as well as project implementation status reports. Help ensure status reports provide senior leadership with sufficient notification of tasks/milestones that are nearing or exceeding estimated costs and time, allowing PS management to recommend Change Orders as needed to prevent project overages and customer experience expectations.
Provide administrative and project management support for special projects across the department.
Maintain lessons learned documentation and lead feedback sessions with the PS Consulting to ensure an ongoing feedback look to manage risks in performing PS engagements, including ongoing edits to the scoping and SOW templates as well as departmental standards. Use expertise as well as lessons learned to continually develop and implement contract review process efficiencies.
Ensure status tracking and maintenance of artifacts and maintained in adherence to departmental standards
Performing administrative tasks such as maintaining a training calendar
Assisting with staff training in various processes.
