The Opportunity
As a Sustainability - Reporting & Assurance Associate, you will engage in sustainability reporting, focusing on environmental, social, and governance issues. You will contribute to the development of sustainability strategies and reporting frameworks, helping organizations disclose non-financial performance information. As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and adaptability, participating in client engagements and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will build meaningful client connections, learn to manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.
This role offers a unique chance to work within the Sustainability Reporting team, where you will support client needs through data analysis, materiality assessments, and climate finance initiatives. Responsibilities
- Conducting sustainability materiality assessments to identify significant environmental, social, and governance issues
- Supporting the implementation of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards
- Collaborating with teams to analyze data and generate insights for sustainability reporting
- Engaging in climate finance and nature finance initiatives to support sustainable development goals
- Utilizing technical accounting skills to address complex sustainability reporting issues
- Participating in the preparation and review of climate reporting in line with established standards
- Assisting in the evaluation of internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance in sustainability reporting
- Developing data models to organize and structure sustainability information effectively
- Communicating findings and recommendations to diverse audiences through various media
- Applying intellectual curiosity to explore innovative solutions for sustainability challenges
- Analyzing maturity assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability processes and capabilities
- Collaborating with assurance teams to deliver quality sustainability reporting and assurance services
- Engaging in teamwork to foster an inclusive and supportive work environment
- Implementing technical solutions to address specific sustainability reporting needs
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Sustainable Resource Management, Environmental Science, or Finance
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.
