Senior Manager, Talent Management – Denver, Colorado (Hybrid)

Role is responsible for leading Global Talent Management initiatives across Western Union, including annual performance review and talent review. The position ensures connecting Talent Programs to Talent Strategy and overall business strategy.

This role will lead the end-to-end execution of talent initiatives, work closely with cross-functional teams, identify optimization opportunities, track details, drive change management, and be accountable for seamless execution. The leader will collaborate with internal stakeholders to formulate recommendations and actions. Proficiency in Workday is essential.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, implement and manage the end-to-end annual performance review and talent review processes ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Design and implement effective Global Talent Programs, manage improvement backlog, prioritize customer needs (be a decision maker), act as a primary Global Talent Programs point of contact
  • Align Talent Programs resources, including assembling and coaching cross-functional teams (collaborators, internal stakeholders)
  • Utilize Workday to implement annual review
  • Monitor progress and connect with stakeholders to proactively identify concerns or issues
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot issues
  • Anticipate client / stakeholder needs and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide resources and training to leaders and partners tools, processes and best practices
  • Influence and coach stakeholders, leaders at various levels, HR colleagues, etc.
  • Evaluate Global Talent Programs effectiveness; Identify success measures, track, analyze and interpret outcomes
  • Understand Global Talent Programs market trends (performance management, talent assessment) and integrate best practices to facilitate the continuous improvement of the programs

               

Role Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience with managing complex Talent Programs: performance management, talent review, talent assessment, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in people-oriented field or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced communication skills including the ability to influence stakeholders effectively  
  • Experience working effectively with complex, cross-cultural teams
  • Extensive knowledge in Workday Talent Modules 
  • Project management certifications nice to have
  • Strong cross-functional, complex project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and manipulate data
  • Strong skillset in successful stakeholder management at various levels: communication, planning, stakeholder expectations management, needs assessment, negotiation, influence
  • Good organizational change management skills, strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities

Salary 

The base salary range is $135,000 – 160,000 per year. Total on target compensation includes a base salary and short-term (15% of base) and long-term (5% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
