As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will report directly to the Head of PMO, Home Ecosystem, and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our strategic programs and the overall Agile excellence within the organization. You will be responsible for driving the successful execution of critical programs across the organization while simultaneously spearheading the adoption of Agile best practices. You will act as a guide and ignitor for PMO operational excellence as well as guiding teams and leaders on their Agile journey, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will be a technical program management thought-leader, constantly improving how we work.

1. PMO Operational activities:

  • Define, track and report on critical PMO organizational improvement programs.

  • Ensure adoption to program management methodologies, standards, and best practices, cultivating our PMO Playbook for the organization at large.

  • Manage central PMO activities, including the documentation repository, team goals, and roadmap, our PMO All Hands and org-wide PMO events, fostering thought-leadership, continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Increase transparency and alignment across the organization through establishing effective communication channels as needed.

  • Develop and maintain insightful dashboards and reports to track program progress and identify key performance indicators.

  • Support the implementation of effective release and launch management methodologies and transparency.

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of program management processes and best practices with all PMO program managers.

2. Agile Mentorship & Center of Excellence:

  • Support the strategy and execution of Scaled Agile approaches, interlocks and frameworks across the enterprise such as quarterly planning, scrum-of-scrums and other communication pathways.

  • Promote the adoption of Agile principles and best practices across the organization by 

    • contributing to the development and delivery of Agile training programs including crafting 

    • leading a regular onboarding programs for new employees.

    • Assist in the coaching and mentoring of teams and leaders on Agile methodologies.

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of Agile Squad metrics and reporting.

  • Support the growth and development of the Center of Excellence (CoE) to foster conversations and actions, best practices and key learnings, fortifying our ways of working together

3. Portfolio Management & Reporting:

  • Contribute to the monitoring of the progress of all our critical strategic programs across the organization through the development and maintenance of the program portfolio via Atlassian Jira.

  • Assist in the prioritization of initiatives and allocation of resources.

  • Track and report on portfolio performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on program status, portfolio performance, and Agile transformation progress to the Head of PMO and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of industry experience implementing and delivering initiatives as a technical program manager, project manager, or similar, able to share success in leading complex, large-scale, programs to completion. 

  • Deep knowledge of Agile/SCRUM and/or Scaled Agile methodologies with certifications in either

    •  Scaled Agile (SAFe) Program Consultant (SPC)

    • Lean Portfolio Management

    • Release Train Engineer certification 

    • ScrumMaster at scale (across more than 10+ agile scrum teams)

  • Masterful proficiency with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira, Jira Portfolio, and Confluence. (Jira Discovery a plus)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data analysis and interpretation.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), ideally within an Agile environment.

  • Experience in consumer technology is a plus.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.

  • A proactive and resourceful approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Creative problem-solving and a willingness to explore innovative solutions.

  • Experience with Direct-to-Consumer product launches and release management is a plus.

  • Remote position. Willing to accommodate moderate travel within the U.S.

The compensation for this position ranges from $136,125.00 - $283,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
