The Senior Director/Director, Pricing is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. This role requires a deep understanding of Xometry’s revenue and profitability targets, market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive landscapes. The ideal candidate will be commercially-focused, possess strong analytical skills, have a data-driven mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies aligned with overall business priorities to maximize long term gross profit growth.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify pricing opportunities and optimize revenue generation.
  • Analyze customer segmentation and pricing elasticity to determine optimal pricing structures.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations and product development teams to drive alignment on the execution of pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive pricing practices.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in application of data analysis and statistical modeling to financial forecasts and business cases.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of pricing software, tools and the application of AI/ML.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Practiced in the implementation of pricing optimization techniques.
  • Responsibility for the P&L impacts of pricing strategy.
  • Experience with pricing in a global complex marketplace.
