Job Description:

  • This position will lead and manage the business enablement function for the Life & Health business. Drive business excellence initiatives, business process optimization, system enhancements, and change management efforts to optimize business operations and support business growth strategies.

Preferred skills

  • Sound knowledge of life insurance products, agency compensation and operations, life operations, client experience and digital technologies.

  • Proficient in spoken & written English and Chinese. Mandarin is an advantage.

  • Proven experience in leading and driving process reengineering/improvement, and transformation initiatives within the life insurance / financial industry.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and senior executives.

  • Solid understanding of change management principles and methodologies, with the ability to effectively manage resistance to change and drive employee adoption.

  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret data, assess ROI, and make informed decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key initiatives to transform and improve agency operations through process optimization, technology enablement, and organizational change management.

  • Oversee the agency compensation system revamp project from planning to implementation. Work closely with Agency Operations, Finance, and IT to develop and rollout the new system.

  • Partner with business leaders across departments to understand pain points, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive process and technology solutions.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices. Evaluate new technologies and tools that can streamline workflows and empower employees.

  • Develop strategies and roadmaps to enhance productivity, efficiency, and client experience through business enablement initiatives.

  • Propose innovative solutions to address business gaps/drive Ease-of-doing business (EODB) activities.

  • Develop and implement effective change management strategies.

  • Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and measurement framework of strategic initiatives/projects.

    Track and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives/projects.
