Job Summary

Responsible for product management activities for small business products. Serves as a major resource to marketing, sales, operations, and sales engineering, assisting them in the resolution of complex problems or leading them on larger projects. Subject Matter Expert, leading cross-functional teams to operationalize new product features as well as support existing product lifecycle initiatives across all small business segments and verticals. Coordinates among a wide range of internal and external resources to ensure that products get to market per specifications, within budget, and on schedule. Develops strategies, processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assists in the development of, and meeting of, departmental budget. Product portfolio includes coax internet, voice, video, security, WiFi, LTE backup, and the digital product experience and other products as necessary.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Acts as the SME/Owner of respective projects in the SB product portfolio, representing Division and Region points of view with clear, concise, and accurate information sharing
  • Conduct proactive product and feature analysis to identify product performance issues/opportunities that support the strategic plan and drive revenue and subscriber growth.
  • Partner with Division Project Management Organization (DPMO) in developing timelines and tracking new product/feature/initiative launches and leading project management on functionally managed projects
  • Support product initiatives end-to-end and post-launch success tracking, metrics, and best practice sharing.
  • Oversees and facilitates consistent matrixed communications (HQ, Division, Region) to drive projects forward and create product fluency from Frontline to Senior Executive levels
  • Utilize depth of knowledge and experience to go ‘wide and deep' to avoid rework.
  • Must demonstrate prior experience to pivot from macro and strategic thinking to having intimate product/project knowledge.
  • Must meet and manage multiple deadlines and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to work independently, build relationships, show thought leadership
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to launch new services, features, and enhancements on time and within budget.
  • Gathers input to define product concepts. Justifies expenditures for products. Defines and analyzes markets. Evaluates technologies. Develop detailed product features and requirements and develop implementation plans.
  • Participates in product modification, cost reduction, margin analysis, advertising and promotion, forecasting, product positioning and pricing strategies
  • The product planning and scheduling process is directed according to sales volume, inventory requirements, and materials availability.
  • Establishes and implements policies and procedures needed to achieve goals.
  • Manages, gathers, and analyzes competitive intelligence data for product lines.
  • Provides product support and documentation and develops product materials.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $122,166.03 - $183,249.04

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
