The CyberSG R&D Programme Office (CRPO) is a new national centre at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. CRPO will focus its efforts on three main thrusts to advance cybersecurity comprehensively: cutting-edge research and development, advancements in technology and translational development, and fostering ecosystem/industry growth and training.

CRPO aspires to propel Singapore to the forefront of cybersecurity innovation and implementation, fueled by funding from the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore (CSA). This financial backing empowers CRPO to finance visionary projects proposed by diverse entities, including research institutes (RIs), institutions of higher learning (IHLs), and industries. The scope of these initiatives spans the entire Technology Readiness Level (TRL) spectrum, from nascent concepts at TRL 1 to advanced, field-tested solutions at TRL 9, all within the dynamic realm of cybersecurity.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager (Grants) to support CRPO’s initiatives in advancing Singapore’s cybersecurity research ecosystem. The role will work closely with two Grants Executives and provide leadership and oversight for manpower management, finance, procurement, and compliance functions to support the smooth operations of the research centre. The role involves strategic coordination across cross-island stakeholders, teams, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, optimizing resource utilization, and enabling directors and researchers to focus on core research and translational outcomes.

Job Description:

  • Oversee manpower planning and administration through RISE, including approvals, budget checks, expenditure monitoring, and reporting.

  • Lead finance and procurement functions, ensuring compliance, value-for-money, timely reporting, and proactive risk management.

  • Serve as the centre’s lead for PDPA and OSHE compliance, and strengthen governance and risk management practices.

  • Supervise and mentor executive staff in manpower, finance, and administration functions.

  • Act as the point of contact for manpower and operational matters with research teams, institutional offices, and external partners.

  • Support Directors in strategic planning, operational reporting, and institutional engagements.

  • Oversee planning and execution of events, meetings, and centre-wide activities.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Public Policy, or related discipline.

  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in project administration, programme coordination, or event management.

  • Experience in higher education, research administration, or public-sector programmes preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office Suite.
