Job Summary:

The Business Operations Manager-Ambulatory will support the activities related to the overall operations of the AUMA and AUHS Ambulatory Practices. In this capacity, they will be responsible for analyzing business and operational data and trends with the intent to improve financial and operational efficiencies. This position will play a key role in identifying performance improvement opportunities and collaborating with Ambulatory Leadership and other key stakeholders to operationalize opportunities of improvement.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Provides operational and business subject matter expertise in data analysis. Expected to analyze operational and business data from multiple sources to identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Actively participates in the collaboration with leadership to implement opportunities of the operational improvement plans to provide best practice clinical care in all ambulatory sites. Responsible for reviewing and presenting data trends to leadership across the organization. As such will be expected to participate in department-level meetings to recommend areas of improvement. Works closely with the leadership of the Ambulatory Administration Office related to contract operations, performance and improvement opportunities. Analyzes key performance indicators. Recommends areas that need further analysis. In conjunction with leadership, works closely to identify meaningful dashboards and statements to assist in communication of relevant information to key stakeholders. Works with the leadership of the Ambulatory Administration Office to create monthly PowerPoint presentations to multiple WSMCG committees. Also works with Ambulatory Leadership on other projects, committees and work groups as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education:

  • Bachelors Healthcare Informatics or Bachelors Finance or Bachelors Business Administration/Management

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

    Required Minimum Experience:

    Minimum 4 years healthcare analytics and operations with an emphasis on performance improvement. Required
