The CACI team is looking to add a Cloud Architect to their growing software development contract with the Department of State in Rosslyn, VA. The Cloud Architect will play a critical technical leadership role in the development and delivery of cloud migration efforts by providing cloud architecture and technical expertise. You will share your senior knowledge and hands-on experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, and leading cloud programs with the team. The successful candidate will have experience with leading cloud migration teams in an agile environment.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for creating technical solutions from customer requirements to design and fulfill customer’s cloud strategy.
Provide technical leadership throughout the design and deployment life cycle and focus on delivery of quality solutions
Support DevSecOps efforts by designing, implementing, and maintaining automation through CI/CD pipelines.
Create technical artifacts of “as-is” and planned cloud architecture to include engineering diagrams, whitepapers, architecture plans, and service descriptions.
Demonstrate ability to stay current with application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, and architectural and systems engineering industry trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical personnel and customers.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; an advanced degree is preferred
A minimum active Secret clearance is required, with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the design, creation, and management of cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual networks and virtual machines
Experience implementing Azure Active Directory federation between an on-premises environment and a cloud environment
A minimum of four (4) years of experience of the Microsoft Azure cloud environment required, as this position will require the candidate to design, implement and manage both IaaS and PaaS Azure offerings
A minimum of two (2) years of experience using the Jenkins or Microsoft DevOps for continuous integration and continuous delivery is required
Experience with transforming development and testing environments from on-premises to cloud-based
Experience in design, configuration and maintenance of IaaS in Azure or AWS (Azure is preferred)
Experience in automation/configuration management (PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC), Chef or equivalent)
Experience with source code repositories such as GIT, SVN, Microsoft DevOps, MS DEVOPS, or equivalent
Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus & Event Grid) Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, SQL Server IaaS, firewalls, Web App proxies, Bash, OSS Technologies, PowerShell scripting, Azure Monitor and Application Insights
Six (6) plus years of experience with .Net framework and customization and development involving programming languages like .Net, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript and jQuery
Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or ARC-P cloud environments is desirable
