Shift: Saturday-Monday (6:00pm - 6:00am)

Starting Pay: $28.00 PER HOUR

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 

Identifies, diagnoses, and repairs machinery and MHE systems as needed in a timely manner. Ensures that facility disruption due to equipment failure is kept to a minimum. Orders and purchases parts, tools, equipment, materials and supplies. Performs routine maintenance and inspections to ensure proper machine performance. Work may include minor fabrication utilizing cut and weld equipment. Tracks maintenance schedules, maintenance hours, spare parts consumption and warranty information . Performs administrative tasks to support maintenance record keeping in CMMS and spare parts storeroom locations. Works with Contractors, Equipment Rental Vendors and specialized MHE trades as necessary. Cleans up worksite locations in the shop, and on the DC floor when repairs are complete. Participates in safety training, advanced skills training, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives. Ensures work is completed using appropriate safety guidelines 

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and MHE 

  • Minimum 2 years maintenance experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment 

  • Prior work experience in a fast-paced maintenance environment, with hands-on skills utilizing basic powered and non-powered hand tools, and the use of cut and weld equipment 

  • Experience or certifications operating powered motor vehicles (PMV) or lift equipment 

  • Familiar with handling of Restricted and Hazardous Substances 

  • Preferred: Industrial Maintenance Technician certification preferred
