The Service Advisor position is responsible for greeting new and current clients as they enter the service area. As an integral part of the service team, the advisor works with the technicians to ascertain the cause of the issue(s) that prompted a given customer's visit, work to address and resolve those issues. In addition, since technicians will often have more than one possible solution to a given issue, service advisors must be able to relate these options to the customer and help them select a course of action.

The Job:
Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers so they can have a great service experience
Meet or exceed targeted sales goals & the targeted customer satisfaction index
Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive
Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and a vehicle walk-around, inspections and test drives
Use a consultative selling process to assist customers in planning for ongoing required maintenance of their vehicle
Produce repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency
Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work
Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle, based on how the customer wants to be informed
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
Gain superior product knowledge to effectively help customers
Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
The Qualifications:
Maintain an energetic, professional, and positive personality throughout the workday
Must be confident working with customers and staff from diverse backgrounds
Effective listening skills when speaking with guests
Desire to provide a high level of customer service and be results-driven
Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
Prior sales experience preferred but not required
Valid driver license with a clean driving record
