- Adapts the area portfolio strategy and marketing plan for specific regions or countries.
- Analyzes the portfolio, market, and competitors to develop plans and storytelling that drive category growth.
- Communication and alignment with country’s all functions for portfolio strategy/programs
- Portfolio Management/LCM including RA/Packaging/Product availability/Support PACE
- NPI Pipeline & Launch
- Understands consumer behavior and identifies unmet needs to influence area/global portfolio teams in product innovation.
- Launches new products in the country/region with a comprehensive marketing plan.
- Country PIPO Plan
- Responsible for achieving the standard margin of the profit center by establishing a base price strategy for each portfolio.
- Develops a price increase plan to optimize margins and counteract inflation or changes in costs.
- Collaborates with APL to implement price guidance.
- Own overall sales growth targets for campaigns within the country or region.
- Ownership to decide on campaign launch timing (go or not go) based on channel readiness.
- Implement campaign strategy locally by defining Business objectives/Hero SKUs , Influencing CCX on Media choices
- Partners with CCX to validate campaign elements (message, assets).
- Examines syndicated data to identify key growth opportunities and leads projects aimed at gaining or recovering market share.
- Local activation budget management and tracking
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
- Proven Marketing experience at FMCG companies. Sales experience as plus
- Channel / Category experience.
- Ability to develop strategy and guide others to implement communicated strategy
- Strong Collaboration skills enabling program execution including presentation skills.
- Prioritization and ability to make decisions for areas of responsibility.
- Data led storytelling for both internal and external stakeholders
- Self-starter mentality paired with a strong business acumen, analytical skills, and excellent team collaboration abilities
- Strong growth mindset, effective listening, collaboration (internal and external), conflict management, results focus, entrepreneurial mindset & negotiation
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written).
