Job Description

We are seeking a Security DevOps Automation Managing Engineer to lead and drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and scalable infrastructure automation solutions. You will be responsible for integrating security best practices into DevOps workflows, managing automation pipelines, and leading a team of engineers focused on infrastructure as code, CI/CD security, and cloud-native security tooling.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with a deep understanding of DevOps principles, infrastructure automation, and cybersecurity

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management:

  • Lead a team of Security and DevOps Automation Engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, performance feedback, and career development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, Development, and IT to align automation efforts with security and business goals.

  • Drive adoption of DevSecOps principles across the organisation

  • Influence design and architecture conversations

• Security & DevOps Automation:

  • Design and implement automated security checks in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., static/dynamic analysis, secret scanning, policy enforcement).

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like fullstack development, Infrastructure as code or Ansible, ensuring security is embedded from the start.

  • Integrate and manage security tools (container scanners, vulnerability management, code scanning) into build and deploy processes.

• Monitoring & Incident Response:

  • Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks with a security-first approach (e.g., CloudTrail, SIEM, Prometheus/Grafana).

  • Support incident response efforts and ensure audit-readiness across environments.

• Process & Compliance:

  • Contribute to security policies, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).

  • Ensure automation solutions align with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years in DevOps (fullstack) and/or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

• 2+ years in a leadership or team management position.

• Proficiency in automation/scripting languages (e.g. - Java, fullstack)

• Experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 7 or more years of experience (Preferred)
