The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Junior Program Financial Analyst who will be contract accounting and reporting, project schedule focus to management, tracking annual fiscal plans and monthly updates, payroll/personnel processing, maintenance and reporting, contract administration, purchasing, facility leasing and service administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain contract budgets, prepares contract-billing, estimates materials, equipment, production costs and delivery schedules.

  • Comply with financial controls, procedures, system requirements, and forecasting techniques, as directed, to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.

  • Monitor progress of program requirements and cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met.

  • Perform financial/administrative reporting for contracts and/or programs.

  • Prepare financial/administrative reports and distribute to customers/user organizations.

  • Conduct financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.).

  • Help create and maintain program resource plan.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • US Citizenship to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance

  • Must be able to build forecast from the ground up including application of wrap rates and correct burdens.

  • Must be able to build reports and charts based on verbal guidance for various internal and external requirements.

  • Must build and maintain accurate forecasts for active programs .

  • Must be able to analyze plans, forecasts, actual costs, variances and communicate trends to the program, line, and financial management.

  • Must be able to prepare adjusting journal entries, reconcile various types of accounts and invoices in a timely manner.

  • Must be a quick study and highly adaptable problem solver to assist the Program Manager with the ever-changing needs of our clients and act as a backup for other PC Analysts on the team Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a related field and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project related finance planning and analysis.

  • Must be well experienced with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT Tables, etc).
