Senior Accountant – GL

 

Key responsibilities

 

• Coordinate, organize and process month end closing with external shared service

• Manage month end and year end reporting

• Prepare Statutory Financial Reporting and Stat to GAAP

• Review accounts reconciliation of Balance Sheet items

• Coordinate with external auditors on statutory accounts

• Monitor and ensure accuracy of inventory movements, provisions for slow-moving or obsolete stock

• Work closely with relevant stakeholders on relevant financial matters

• Coordinate with internal auditors on financial data request

• Drive process improvements, standardization, and system enhancements

• Support management reporting and ad-hoc finance analysis as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance and / or a chartered qualification in either (ACCA, CPA, MIA etc)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in full-set financial accounting and general ledger

• Good hand-on HFM and familiarity with ERP systems

• Effective communication skills across all levels with excellent stakeholders management skills

• Results driven by exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage many simultaneous work tasks and responsibilities

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
