Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) Workers Compensation team at Marsh. This role will be based in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Workers Compensation Associate Consultant, you will provide operational support to Marsh colleagues and clients through injury management software administration, insurer liaison and back-office injury management activities. This is an entry-level opportunity to build a career in workers compensation consulting and injury management, with strong on-the-job development and exposure to large national employers.

We will count on you to:

  • Administer injury management software for selected clients and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Manage triage and lodgement of new claims, along with inbox, document and file management
  • Liaise with insurers in relation to injury management activities and respond to administrative queries
  • Produce and format reports, correspondence, presentations and other documentation as required
  • Support payroll and wage reimbursement processes, including data entry, invoice generation and spreadsheet maintenance
  • Assist the Workers Compensation team during busy periods and carry out other tasks as directed by your manager

What you need to have:

  • High School Certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in an office environment and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, organisation and time management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work confidently in a team environment
  • Completion of, or willingness to undertake, company-directed compliance training
