As the Business Development Manager (Ruminant), OCEANIA you will be responsible for attracting and retaining B2B customers, building strong partnerships, and ensuring their success. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Country Management, Sales, Technical, Program Managers, Marketing, Customer Service, Pricing, and more.

Job Description:

Key accountabilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Collaborate with Country Managers and Account Managers to identify target accounts and growth opportunities in Oceania.
  • Lead and implement the Ruminant strategic sales plan, ensuring objectives and sales targets are achieved.
  • Lead and develop Rendering sales growth, ensuring objectives and sales targets are achieved.
  • Create annual Ruminant plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Drive customer acquisition, grow the client base, and maintain long-term relationships to ensure engagement and profitability.
  • Contribute and ensure a strong and active CRM pipeline of opportunities in the CRM.
  • Provide tailored solutions to address customer needs, demonstrating the value of our products and services.
  • Oversee the Ruminant budget, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead technical and sales support for Ruminant feed additives (including Intellibonds, AO mix, Fytera, Toxo, SprayFo)
  • Support the development, implementation and expansion of NutriOpt services, focusing on XRF expansion.
  • Represent the company on industry bodies for the Ruminant & Rendering sectors, showcasing technical expertise and leadership.
  • Support distributor activities and management.
  • Support marketing activities and CRM development for customer and product usage mapping.
  • Plan and execute growth strategies for key product lines, including Eubiotics (Fytera), YAF (SprayFo), and rendering businesses in Oceania.
  • Coordinate Ruminant technical support ensuring alignment with regional strategies.
  • Support and contribute to the data quality of MIDAS.
  • Leads and supports assigned Ruminant key projects is Asia.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree combined with relevant sales trainings OR
  • Minimum 5 Years of technical sales and account management experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Technical experience in the Ruminant Animal Feed & Nutrition industry
  • Team player with strong negotiation, presentation, contractual and legal skills
  • Able to demonstrate strong relationship building.
  • Adept at persuasive selling, sales processes and tools
  • In-depth understanding of business environments and sales financials
  • Able to demonstrate strong organisational skills
  • Self-motivated.
