FTE: 0.75, Shift: Day, Schedule: 10hr shifts Monday through Friday - schedule TBD

Position Summary

Supervisor-Emergency Department Technical is responsible for the achievement of system goals around finance, quality, service, and engagement objectives through the oversight of the emergency department operational functions and as determined by management. The incumbent will supervise the Emergency Service Technicians (EST), Emergency Services Representatives (ESR), and Support Technicians (ST) and perform human resource related functions such as recruitment, performance management, staff engagement and recognition. This position is responsible for both administrative, direct and indirect patient care services. Specific tasks may vary according to performance improvement and service goals. This position is accountable for recommending new/revised process improvement and quality management goals.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a related professional or technical role/function required
  • Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity required
  • Minimum two (2) years Supervisory or Lead experience preferred
  • Certification as EMT-B or Paramedic preferred
  • Two (2) years of emergency room experience in a related role (i.e. CNA, MA, NA-R) preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $67,662.40 - $97,364.80 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
