Senior Physician Onboarding Specialist

Position Highlights:

  • Position:  Senior Physician Onboarding Specialist

  • Location:  Arlington Heights, IL

  • Full Time/Part Time:  Full-time

  • Hours:  Monday-Friday, during normal business hours  

  • Travel: Travel to Skokie may be required

What you will do:

  • Own and execute physician onboarding function for all new Medical Group and resource physicians with minimal oversight. Key accountabilities include

  • Communicate with new physicians with high customer service and empathic communications

  • Execute offer and contract process, serve as the partner between Medical Group leadership, Professional Staff Office and Physician Contracts team

  • Follow established workflows to deliver an exceptional new hire experience; identify or modify processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the program

  • Establish collaborative partnerships with Medical Group leaders; demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills to ensure policies are followed without compromising candidate experience or engagement

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Care Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field

  • Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills that enable the ability to build partnerships with physicians, administrative leaders and external vendors

    • Able to work independently, take direction and also work as a team player

    • Collaborative approach to completing work assignments and asking for assistance to accomplish priorities

    • Ability to organize, multitask and quickly manage a large and diverse workload with changing deadlines and priorities

    • Comfortable with shifting priorities based upon business need

    • Strong critical thinker

  • Experience:

    • Strong computer skills, to include proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe

    • Experience using HR management systems and applicant tracking systems
