Position Overview:

As a key member of the talented Power Systems brand team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing brand strategies. By collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help lead brand-related projects across the organization, driving brand awareness and engagement.

In this role, you will be instrumental in creating and implementing innovative marketing programs for multiple brands, aimed at enhancing both B2C and B2B engagement. Given the diversity of our brands, this position requires someone with a strong strategic perspective and a willingness to challenge the status quo while constructively driving change. You will foster teamwork and uphold core corporate values. We seek a candidate with a business owner mentality, as your contributions will drive the growth of the Navico Group Power Systems portfolio, ensuring optimal marketing impact and increased customer value.

  • Collaborate on Brand Initiatives: Work with the Brand Marketing Director and Brand Managers to design and execute comprehensive brand strategies, including product positioning, messaging hierarchy, and communications to enhance brand awareness and achieve business goals.

  • Annual Marketing Plans: Contribute to the development and execution of annual marketing plans that cover all aspects of the marketing mix, such as packaging, new product development and launch, digital marketing, promotions, market research, advertising, and media. Collaborate with internal and external teams to translate long-term strategies into effective marketing tactics.

  • Product Launches: Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, working cross-functionally with Category Business Team, Regional Marketing, Marketing Services, and Digital teams.

  • Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the category, including the competitive landscape and business environment. Assist in defining global audiences, segments, and personas that the brands aim to serve.

  • Customer Insights and Content Creation: Leverage customer insights and business objectives to inform brand strategy and create compelling content that drives the brand and business forward.

  • Brand Health Tracking and KPI Analysis: Assist in tracking brand health and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) against marketing activities. Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to assess brand performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize brand strategy, positioning, activations, and messaging.

  • Budget Management: Support the development and management of the marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • 3-5 years of experience in brand/marketing management

  • Proven track record in both B2B and B2C marketing

  • Proficient in managing large projects and meeting deadlines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Competence in graphic design software such as Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

  • Experience with email marketing programs and platforms

  • Experience with digital marketing analytics tools and platforms, including Google Analytics and social media marketing

Working Conditions:

  • Travel up to 10% of the time to events and in-person meetings

The anticipated pay range for this position is $57,700 – $104,300 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
