What would you do? We are looking for an experienced General Accounting / Month-end Closing to manage end-to-end GA activities and handle client queries. The role requires strong RTR / GA process knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment.

Record to Report (R2R) is a finance and accounting process that involves collecting, processing, and delivering accurate financial data. This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. The goal is to provide a clear and accurate picture of a companys financial performance. Effective R2R processes ensure compliance with accounting standards and support informed decision-making. Involves balancing all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general ledger based source data to verify whether the balance sheet accounts are in balance with the source system feeding the general ledger. Differences which arise are addressed as reconciling items.

• Prepare standard / recurring journal entries like accruals, provisions, prepaids, reclass, rectification
• Perform OIM accounts clearing on daily / weekly basis to have control over transactions accounts
• GRIR accounts clearing on daily / weekly basis, and analyze aging items to make force clearing
• Perform Intercompany accounting and reconciliation on day-to-day basis, share with the clients
• Month-end intercompany dispute / mismatch and solution driven analysis & journal preparation and posting, follow-up calls after MEC with counter parties to resolve permanently
• Trial Balance analysis to identify unbalanced or anomalies transactions, make correction entries
• Manage month-end closing activities like FX revaluation, AR/AP regrouping, lock the period, etc
• Financial consolidation / group reporting activities
• Perform and publish balance sheet reconciliation with clients for their review on monthly basis
• Notify aged open items with clients and provide analysis report with commentaries to take decisions
• Adherent to compliance policies, SODs and audit trail
• Track and resolve tickets within defined SLAs/TAT
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, internal controls, and audit requirements
