As a Sr. Cloud Engineer I, you’ll support OCI services by provisioning, monitoring, and configuration along with IaC, Containerization, and CI/CD configurations in support of production operations.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy.
• Evaluate and identify the best cloud solutions for the organization.
• Develop and modify scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy.
• Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design controls and processes that utilize available audit tools.
• Maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• 4+ years of experience in cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with various cloud platforms.
• A bachelor's degree
• An Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Proficient in environments such as OCI, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing and managing applications.
• Ability to use monitoring and logging tools to track application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
